Pinus nigra
Pine - Austrian
The Austrian Pine is a tough and reliable conifer that tolerates most soil conditions. The dark green needles are longer than most - about 4 inches in length. This pine makes a good windbreak or privacy screen and develops an interesting, rugged and irregular trunk as it matures. This conifer withstands heat and drought very well and is mostly deer resistant. Also makes a great choice for urban and seaside areas as it tolerates city smog and salt spray very well.
Our plants come with extra large and fibrous root systems, ready to plant and flourish!
